| 1000 Island Region - St. Lawrence River - New York |
| Left for Alexandria Bay, NY on Saturday, June 9 and returned on June 23. Unusual warm weather, low water levels, high winds and more boat traffic than in the past 21 years, held us to only 383 smallmouth. More than 100 were over 3 pounds with a few hitting 3lb 11 oz. Also had 31 largemouth, 11 pike 75 yellow perch and more rock bass than I could count. I have seen water temps in ranges from 46 to 64 degrees over the years, but this year we hit 69 and 70 on the main water and up to 77 in back bays and coves Once again I stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage at Hi--da-way Summer Cottages in Alexandria Bay, New York.
